Stakeholder

Stakeholder

A stakeholder is an individual or a collective group of individuals who possess a genuine interest and responsibility in a particular human undertaking, such as pharmacovigilance. These stakeholders are involved because they either play a role in executing decisions related to the endeavor or are directly influenced by the consequences of the actions taken.

In the context of pharmacovigilance, stakeholders could include regulatory authorities, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, patients, and researchers, among others. Each stakeholder’s unique perspective and involvement contribute to the overall success and safety of pharmacovigilance efforts.
