Validated Signal

A Validated Signal is a signal for which the process of signal validation has confirmed that the available documentation includes adequate evidence indicating the presence of a new potential causal relationship or a new aspect of a previously known association. This validation process establishes that there is a justifiable basis for conducting further in-depth analysis and evaluation of the signal to better understand its implications and significance in the context of pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
